Senoras Gambit

The choreography explores the movement of chess pieces, pathways, zaps and traps as the dancers are caught in a nautical game of chess. Giant chess is played with hip hop dance movement, hula hooping, staff twirling, flag dance and an impressive fire dance finale.

Senora's Gambit is created by Penella Bee- a Sunderland based choreographer and performer, fresh from her sell out show GLOW- fusing dance and projection. Penella Bee and Little T (Tanya Oxbury) make up The Fire Girls, a fiery touring duo who amaze crowds at events up and down the country with their choreographed fire show fusing hip hop and circus manipulation skills.

This show was also taken to Blackett Street Newcastle as part of the road closures for The Great Exhibition of the North.

Never The ENd

A playful art installation of light, fire, dance, soundscape and sculptures along the railway tracks. Never the End is a journey of time responding to the industrial landscape.

In 2015 Bee Enchanted were the finale performance for the City of Culture Launch in Sunderland .

This was Penella Bees inspiration for GLOW and Northern Lights.
